Officials and Governing

Officials and GoverningRoyal officials were divided into 3 categories.
1.  Officials attached to the palace.
2.  Officials of the central administration.
3.  Officials of the provincial administration.
One of the most important position was Purohita , the chief advisor of the king.The king also had a board of ministers called Amati paheja .In central administration Senapati was a position second only to the king,and held by a member of nobility.This position and also the positions of yuvaraja (subking) played a major role in administration.
